Start Your Friday with the Patron Saint of Beer

Saints are in the news, as they should be, but as we head into Friday Night where a plethora of beers will be responsibly deleted, it's important that we thank Saint Arnold. Saint Arnold of Soissons brewed beer in medieval Belgium, and is known for encouraging peasants to drink beer in place of water because of its health benefits. At one point, he saved lives because of his encouragement of beer drinking instead of water during a time of sickness. Works for me, pour a Stella out for the patron saint of Belgian Brewers, have a Friday.

To keep things rolling, throw New Orleans' finest, Louis Armstrong's performance of "When The Saints Go Marching In." Gotta tip your hat to New Orleans, no one classier.
